Morissette Amon fulfills dream of singing in Disneyland

Morissette Amon was over the moon after she had the “most magical Christmas experience,” performing at a live show in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Amon gushed over her Disney princess moment, giving a glimpse of the event through her Instagram page last Saturday, Dec. 7.

The singer marked the event in a sparkly royal-blue dress, singing and sharing the stage with animated characters including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

“Thank you Hong Kong Disneyland for the most magical Christmas experience ever. Still cannot fathom how much of a dream come true this was for me!” she said.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to get to work on a handful of Disney projects throughout my career, but this one is definitely one for the books; from collecting Disney Princess magazines when I was younger, to literally turning into one over the weekend singing in front of the iconic castle!” she continued.

Amon further underscored her gratitude to those who had been part of her performance.

“This meant the world,” she added. “Young Mori would scream ‘Daghang salamat!’ especially to the whole team, cast, and crew (shoutout to our kababayans) for taking care of us during our week-long stay. I miss it all already.”

In 2022, Amon also led a roster of artists who performed some popular soundtracks of Disney animated movies during the launch of its streaming app in the Philippines.
