Marian Rivera emotional as Zia sings on stage for first time
Marian Rivera was overwhelmed with pride and joy as she watched her firstborn Zia’s first-ever song performance on stage.
The celebrity mom gave a glimpse of her daughter’s rehearsal via a video on her Facebook page on Tuesday, Dec. 3. The clip shows Zia at an event, standing on the stage and holding a microphone while singing Andra Day’s “Rise Up.”
“Pumatak ang luha ko sa panonood sayo habang nag re-rehearsal ka,” Rivera captioned the post. (My tears fell while watching you rehearse.)
“Ito ang una mong pagkakataon na sumubok sa mga bagay na hindi ka pamilyar pero sinubukan mo, as in literal eto ang first time mo tumuntong sa entablado para kumanta,” she added.
(This is your first time to try something you’re unfamiliar with, but still you pushed through. This is literally the first time you stepped on the stage to sing.)
