Lea Salonga, Dolly de Leon, SB19, and BINI are some of the biggest names who received nods at the upcoming 37th Aliw Awards, as they were recognized for their contributions to the theater industry and concert scene.
Salonga and de Leon are both up for the Best Lead Actress in a Play award for their performances in the silent play “Request Sa Radyo,” while the P-pop powerhouses are nominated for the Best Collaboration in a Concert category.
Meanwhile, SB19’s main vocalist Stell and Julie Anne San Jose are also considered for the Best Collaboration in a Concert plum.
Organized by the Aliw Awards Foundation, the annual awards ceremony aims to recognize the contributions of Filipino artists in theater, concert, music, production, and other related fields. The 37th edition of the event is set to be held at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel on December 18.
