Ai-Ai delas Alas intrigues fans with remark about ‘narcissist’

Ai-Ai delas Alas generated buzz among fans after she shared a quote about a “narcissist” and a “partner,” weeks after confirming her separation from her husband Gerald Sibayan.
“The narcissist’s new supply may believe they’ve won your partner, but in reality they’ve only taken your problem,” read the quote shared on the actress-comedian’s Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Delas Alas seemingly found the quote amusing, adding a “HAHAHA” sticker, although she did not make any further explanation on her post.

Delas Alas confirmed their split last Nov. 11, saying they have been separated since October this year. She further revealed her initial plans to conceive through in vitro fertilization (IVF) and his alleged infidelity at some point in their marriage.
“Oct. 14 nagchat siya t’as madaling araw dito sa Pilipinas. Sinabi niya na gusto na niyang magkaanak at ‘di na siya happy,” she recalled her conversation with Sibayan, who is based in the United States.

(When I married Gerald, I prepared myself for this. I knew he was still young, and his mind could change. But I hoped it wouldn’t. I had hoped that forever was real.)
Delas Alas and Sibayan tied the knot in December 2017, then renewed their vows five years later.
