Philippine bet Irha Mel Alfeche’s journey to the Miss Earth 2024 crown has ended after she fell short of securing a spot in the Top 8 of the competition held on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The candidates who made it to the Top 8 were the following:
- Dominican Republic’s Tamara Aznar
- Puerto Rico’s Bianca Caraballo
- USA’s Bea Millan-Windorski
- Peru’s Niva Antezana
- Cabo Verde’s Jasmine Jorgensen
- Australia’s Jessica Lane
- Iceland’s Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir
- Russia’s Ekaterina Romanova
Alfeche, a military reservist who hails from Matanao, Davao del Sur, competed with 75 other candidates who were all aiming to inherit the crown from reigning queen Drita Ziri from Albania.
The end of the competition, which is held in Parañaque City, will see the crowning of the new titleholder along with three other queens for the titles Miss Earth-Air 2024, Miss Earth-Water 2024, and Miss Earth-Fire 2024.
