Miss Earth 2024: PH bet Irha Mel Alfeche advances to Top 12
The Philippines’ Irha Mel Alfeche is still in the running for the Miss Earth 2024 crown as she earned a spot in the Top 12 at the coronation night held in Parañaque City on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Aside from Alfeche, other delegates who made the cut were the following:
- Iceland’s Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir
- Puerto Rico’s Bianca Caraballo
- Mauritius’ Shreeya Bokhoree
- Nigeria’s Shuntell Ezomo
- Namibia’s Albertina Haimbala
- Australia’s Jessica Lane
- Dominican Republic’s Tamara Aznar
- USA’s Bea Millan-Windorski
- Russia’s Ekaterina Romanova
- Cabo Verde’s Jasmine Jorgensen
- Peru’s Niva Antezana
Prior to the Top 12 announcement, the Top 20 candidates wowed the audience in white one-piece swimwears by fashion designer Ricky Abad.
Alfeche is aiming to be the fifth Philippine bet to win the international title, following Karla Henry in 2008, Jamie Herrell in 2014, Angelia Ong in 2015 and Karen Ibasco in 2017.
The 2023 titleholder, Albanian queen Drita Ziri, will relinquish her title to her successor at the end of the competition.
