Actress Camille Prats said she wouldn’t count her former “G-mik” co-star Carlo Aquino as her first love because it was only a “puppy love.”
In a recent guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Prats was asked about his past relationship with Aquino.
“First love ba yon? Parang for me, I would count it as puppy love. Nagfa-fall siya sa category na ‘yon,” she said.
Prats and Aquino were former co-stars in the ’90s youth-oriented show “G-mik” alongside the former’s older brother, John Prats.
Camille affirmed that she never once denied whatever feelings she had for Aquino. In the same interview, John also recalled the time that Aquino was trying to pursue his sister.
“I can still remember nu’ng nangyayari ‘yung mga moments na ganyan, siyempre, JCS, banda kami. Tapos hindi namin alam, pinopormahan na nu’ng isa ‘yung kapatid ko. Nu’ng nalaman ko talaga, para kaming mga ‘Wag natin papansinin ‘yan, Stefano [Mori], ha?’” he narrated, referring to their co-band member.
Camille pitched in to share that her brother made Aquino feel that what he did to his sister wasn’t okay.
“Pina-feel niya talaga [kay Carlo] na ‘bad trip ako sa ginawa mo,’” she said.
Meanwhile, Camille is now happily married to VJ Yambao, with whom she shares two children, Nala and Nolan. She was previously married to Anthony Linsangan, who passed away in 2011 due to nasopharyngeal carcinoma. They share a son, Nathan.
Meanwhile, Aquino recently tied the knot with actress Charlie Dizon. He has a daughter, Mithi, with his former partner Trina Candaza.
