First-time mom Janine Tugonon got candid about her breastfeeding journey, saying she finds it more difficult than pregnancy and childbirth.
The beauty queen-model, who is based in the United States, opened up about this while showing a photo of herself beside her baby’s crib, via her Instagram Stories on Friday, Nov. 1.
“‘Sup eyebags? Kaya pa, teh? (Are you still okay, sister?)” she quipped.
“Not gonna lie, I underestimated breastfeeding. For me, it was more difficult than the pregnancy, the CS and CS recovery,” said Tugonon, who earlier revealed she gave birth via Cesarean section.

Aside from recovering from her CS delivery, Tugonon appears to have started getting back in shape as she previously shared a photo of herself on a treadmill.
Tugonon, who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2012 and finished first runner-up to Olivia Culpo of the US in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant, announced in June her pregnancy with a baby girl.
Tugonon did not immediately reveal the identity of her partner, although she added in her post the flags of the Philippines and France which seemingly implied the latter’s nationality.
Tugonon announced her daughter’s birth in October, with the beauty queen also showing a glimpse of her partner’s face. Tugonon has yet to reveal her daughter’s name as of this writing.
