Janine Tugonon gives birth to first child

Miss Universe Philippines 2012 Janine Tugonon is officially a mom as she and her French partner have welcomed their firstborn, a baby girl.
The United States-based beauty queen-model revealed this through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Oct. 30, by showing a photo of herself carrying her newborn. Tugonon added an emoji to cover her child’s face.

Tugonon then showed herself on a treadmill, disclosing that she apparently gave birth through “CS” or Cesarean section.
“Five days post CS,” she said. “Taking it slow lang. Walking is good for circulation daw.”

Tugonon also earlier shared photos of a baby’s hand as well as a man, who appears to be the beauty queen’s partner, lovingly gazing at the baby resting on his chest.

Tugonon has yet to reveal her daughter’s name as of this writing.
Tugonon, who finished first runner-up to Olivia Culpo of the US in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant, announced her pregnancy in June.
“Exciting times, new goals set and new season in life ahead,” she declared at the time.
Tugonon did not immediately reveal the identity of her partner, although she added in her post the flags of the Philippines and France which seemingly implied the latter’s nationality.
