Nora Aunor visits Boss Toyo shop, brings ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ dress
National Artist Nora Aunor took time to visit the shop of social media personality Boss Toyo, bringing with her the decades-old dress she wore when she won the singing contest “Tawag ng Tanghalan” in 1967.
“Nung manalo ako sa ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ ‘yan po ang suot ko. Pero hindi ko po ibebenta [ito],” Aunor said while speaking to Boss Toyo, or Jayson Luzadas in real life, as seen on his YouTube vlog on Friday, Oct. 25.
(I wore this when I won in “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” But I’m not selling this.)
“Kaya ko lang po dinala para makita ninyo dahil sa — ang pakay ko po talaga ay baka makatulong po kayo sa mga kababayan po natin na nasalanta ng Bagyong Kristine sa Bicol,” she continued.
(I brought this for you to see it, but the main purpose of my visit is to ask for help for our countrymen who were affected by the Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.)

Luzadas then turned again to Aunor’s vintage dress and assessed that the item should supposedly be priced at P5 million.
“Ma’am, kapag nagbago ang isip niyo, pag-iipunan ko ito at gusto ko itong mailagay sa museum ko. Sa January may museum na ako,” he said.
(Ma’am, if you ever change your mind, I’ll save up to buy this and put it in my museum. By January, my museum is already built.)
At the latter part of the vlog, Aunor disclosed that Luzadas pledged to donate P250,000 for the victims of Kristine in Bicol.
