Celebrity couple Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson delighted their fans with their version of the “upside down” trend.
In a video posted on TikTok that was taken during their trip to El Nido, Palawan, the couple, in their swimwear, was first seen standing, then Anderson effortlessly flipped Barretto upside down.
“At the beach, life is different,” the actor captioned his post, tagging Barretto.
The “upside down” is currently popular online, with mostly couples doing it.
Anderson and Barretto recently went on a beach trip in Palawan. On Instagram, they shared photos from their vacation.
One image shows the pair enjoying a ride in a yacht with El Nido’s scenic rock formations in the background, while another photo shows them having a peaceful picnic on a beach.
“Somewhere between the sky and the ocean, I found paradise,” wrote the actor on his caption.
In a past interview, Anderson said that he sees Barretto as the “right one” for him but they are not planning a wedding just yet, as he wants his girlfriend to enjoy her life and career first.
“We’ve been together for five years. But it’s her moment right now, let her enjoy. Let’s not rush things,” he told reports at the time. “She’s very special to me. Hindi naman magbabago ‘yan (That will never change).”
Meanwhile, Anderson previously delighted his fans after he also hopped on the “Mamushi” dance trend alongside fellow actors Sam Milby, John Prats, Jake Cuenca, Marc Solis, and Sancho Vito De las Alas.
The video has accumulated 1 million views and almost 50,000 comments.
