For the first time since the alleged feud between Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach made headlines, the former clarified that she never had a problem with the Miss Universe 2015 titleholder.
Evangelista addressed her apparent spat with Wurtzbach in an intimate press conference for her upcoming reality show “Heart World,” when asked for her thoughts on them being pitted against each other.
“It’s once and for all. Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia [Wurtzbach]. I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. And I’d like to think that it was the same for her. She was so sweet enough to post the hashtag ‘Heart made do it.’ And at the time, I was so touched,” she said.

Evangelista however said that it was the people that Wurtzbach decided to “surround herself with for specific reasons,” which made the situation “problematic” for her, apparently referring to her former glam team who are now working with the beauty queen.
“But it’s the people she chose to surround herself with for specific reasons that makes this whole thing problematic,” said Evangelista.
“If I have a message for Pia, congratulations. You have what you needed. I wish you nothing but the best. And good luck. Sana hindi mangyari sa’yo ‘yung nangyari sa’kin,” she continued.
‘Emotional terrorists’
Evangelista was also asked if her “former team” will be featured on her upcoming reality show during the media con.
“Well, most definitely, my past is part of my story. So as much as possible, I will show everything in ‘Heart World.’ And I guess, really, truly, the moral lesson for me, I consider myself medyo beterana sa industriya because I’ve been here for almost 27 years. It’s a long time for me. I’ve been through a lot,” she began.
Without naming any incident in particular, Evangelista said that while “some stay [and] some go,” she pointed out that it’s important to be “truly careful” of “emotional terrorists” who seemingly are out to destroy someone’s life.
“I’ve met different kinds of people. Some stay, some go. But you have to truly careful of who you trust and whom you freely give your heart away because sometimes, may makakapasok na emotional terrorists that are there to kill and destroy your life. You have to be wary of that,” she said.
“Maybe not for yourself but for the people in your life that matters. Mahirap talaga kapag may isang tao na may pinagdadaanan at ‘di niya kayang dalhin ang sarili niya. Hindi mo alam ang gagawin mo. Maybe not for myself but for the people around me, my husband and my family,” she continued.
Reflecting on her past experiences, the fashion influencer admitted that she regretted putting her loved ones at risk. She also hinted at a certain “crime” although she didn’t disclose what crime it was.
“If there’s anything I regret in my life, I put everybody at risk. I put our family at risk because I allowed certain people to enter. So beware of emotional terrorists. They do exist,” said Evangelista.
“A crime was committed. It’s still me, you know. It was me who decided [to let them enter my life]. But you have to take care of it. Masira na buhay ko, huwag lang masira buhay ng pamilya ko. Hinayaan ko na makapasok sila. Not necessarily referring to anyone out there, but us, as artistas, as a person, and even normal people in your office. If you’re too open, may makakapasok,” she further explained.
Neither Wurtzbach nor her current glam team have yet to address the statement, as of press time.
