Even when she’s away from the limelight, Angel Locsin makes sure her celebrity friends – among whom is Vice Ganda – still feel her love and presence.
The comedian and “It’s Showtime” host revealed how the actress – who has been on showbiz and social media hiatus since 2022 – and her husband Neil Arce recently reached out to him and gave him a new dog.
“Meron akong bagong dog. Chai poodle siya, regalo siya sa akin ni Neil tsaka ni Angel Locsin. Kasi when Chip In passed on, sobra kong lungkot,” Vice Ganda said on his YouTube vlog on Wednesday, Oct. 9, referring to his six-year-old dog which died last August.
(I have a new dog, a chai poodle. It was a gift from Neil and Angel because when Chip In passed on, I was very sad.)
“Si Chip In ay regalo sa akin ng mga kaibigan ko nung birthday ko; isa do’n si Angel Locsin,” he further noted. “Nung nalaman niyang nawala na si Chip In, alam niyang malungkot na malungkot ako. Kapapanganak lang nung aso niya so ‘yung isa binigay niya sa akin.”
(Chip In was a birthday gift from my friends including Angel Locsin. When she was informed that I lost Chip In, she knew I was sad so she gave me one of the recently birthed puppies of her dog.)
The topic was brought up in the vlog as Vice Ganda was unboxing her character toys, and one of which resembles the color of the fur of the new dog given by Locsin.
Vice Ganda then showed his new fur baby, saying he’s thinking of naming it after the character toy Zimomo.
Meanwhile, Locsin’s last Instagram post was in August 2022 when she attended the baby shower of her friend and fellow actress Angelica Panganiban.
