South Korean music label YG Entertainment, which is behind the K-pop groups Blackpink and BigBang, is on the lookout for its next batch of K-pop idols, as it announced that it will be holding auditions in different parts of Asia including the Philippines.

On its Instagram page, YG announced that its auditions will take place at Zero Studio in Quezon City on Sunday, November 24. It is open to anyone born between 2006 and 2013.

Aspirants must choose between vocal, rap, dance, and appearance as their sole category for the audition.

Participants can pre-register on YG’s audition site until November 10. The label also reminded its followers that photos and videos must be attached to their applications.

Chosen applicants will receive a confirmation email for the second round of auditions 10 days later. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Known as one of the biggest music labels in South Korea, YG is behind the formation of K-pop giants BigBang, 2NE1, and Blackpink. The groups remain signed with the label, although most of the group’s members established themselves as solo artists in different agencies.

YG is also home to K-pop groups Winner, BabyMonster, Treasure, and the duo AKMU.

The label also manages the acting careers of South Korean actors Lee Sung-kyung, Yoo In-na, Son Na-eun, Jang Ki-yong, and Yoo Seung-ho, to name a few.
