Sofia Andres revealed that she has parted ways with celebrity stylist Steph Aparici, saying the latter has been using the actress’ name in dealings with brands without her knowledge.
Andres announced this through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 24, noting that she made the decision “after much consideration.”
“l’ve decided to part ways with my current stylist that I also treated as my family, Ms. Steph Aparici. It was a hard decision but l’m excited to explore new opportunities and styles moving forward,” the actress said.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before,” she continued. “It’s a reminder to be cautious—business is business, nothing personal. And I’m learning to trust my instincts.”
Andres did not immediately expound on the matter and just addressed clients, “To all the brands that I’ve worked with through her; or sent some pieces that didn’t reach me or I haven’t posted, [please] feel free to email me directly!”
It can be noted, however, that in Andres’ original post, she included the phrase “Because I wasn’t aware that she’s been using my name [and] would also share my contacts to other clients.”
This has since been removed from the actress’ post although screenshots of it have already been re-uploaded on social media.

Aparici has yet to comment on the matter as of this writing.
