Angelica Panganiban credits colorful life to birthday girl Amila

On Amila Sabine’s second birthday, Angelica Panganiban looked back on their mother-and-daughter moments and regarded the child as the reason why she sees life “as colorful as it can be.”
The actress compiled clips taken during family trips, special occasions and mundane moments, through a video on her Instagram page on Friday, Sept. 20.
Making the video more heartwarming is Christina Perri’s rendition of “Isn’t She Lovely” which Panganiban used as the background song.
The video concludes with a clip of Amila and her grandmother Annabelle, Panganiban’s mom who passed away exactly a month before the child’s birthday.
“Now, I see life as colorful as it can be,” Panganiban said in the caption. “Thank you for being an amazing daughter, Amila! Happy Birthday my precious love. Adadü bubba.”

Panganiban’s fellow celebrities including Judy Ann Santos, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla then showered Amila with love and greetings via the comments section.

Panganiban shares Amila with her non-showbiz husband Gregg Homan. The couple tied the knot twice — the first time in the United States in December 2023 and the second in a beach ceremony in Siargao last April.
They welcomed Amila, whom they also fondly call Bean, in 2022.
