Filipino-Canadian actor Manny Jacinto is in the running to be this year’s People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, alongside fellow nominees and Hollywood stars Jacob Elordi, Nicholas Galitzine and Gavin Casalegno.
The magazine has already rolled out the Readers’ Choice Poll, with Jacinto, Elordi, Galitzine and Casalegno in the sexiest heartthrob category. Other categories and their respective nominees are as follows:

The voting for the next titleholder, who will succeed 2023 People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive Patrick Dempsey, runs until Sept. 20.
Jacinto’s nomination came after his well-received performance in “Star Wars: The Acolyte.” In the series, the actor was introduced as apothecary Qimir who was later unveiled to be the Stranger.
Meanwhile, Jacinto is set to star as the onscreen husband of Lindsay Lohan in the sequel of the hit 2003 film “Freaky Friday.”
