The race to the 2024 Mutya ng Pilipinas crowns gets tighter as the pageant further trims the contenders down to just nine.
The 56th anniversary edition of the second longest-running national pageant in the country is holding its coronation show tonight, Sept. 6, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
From 31 delegates from across the country and overseas Filipino communities, the competition is now just down to these 9 ladies:

The pageant also handed out quite a number of special awards:

The 2024 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant is held almost two years after the previous edition was mounted in December 2022, which was its comeback edition after a two-year pandemic break.
The remaining ladies are competing for the right to represent the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism International pageants, and the World Top Model contest.
Also at stake are the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities and Mutya ng Pilipinas-Charity titles.
The runners-up will likewise receive their own titles–Mutya ng Pilipinas-Luzon, Mutya ng Pilipinas-Visayas, and Mutya ng Pilipinas-Mindanao.
