Philippines to welcome Miss Earth 2024 delegates; coronation on Nov. 9
After staging the 2023 competition in Vietnam, the Miss Earth pageant will return to the Philippines this year, with the coronation of the new queen scheduled in November.
The Manila-based global tilt shared the update on social media, saying the “finals & coronation” will be held at Okada Manila in Parañaque City on Nov. 9. This was the same venue for the 2019 and 2022 coronation ceremonies.
“The Philippines will once again play host to MISS EARTH delegates from all over Earth as the unique pageant continues to blend glamour with profound commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability,” the social media post said.
The delegates are expected to arrive in October for auxiliary activities. “All events will be live streamed worldwide on MISS EARTH social media account’s online channels. Finals will be aired on A2Z, The Filipino Channel, and on local and online channels of some participating countries,” the post added.

For the 2024 pageant, organizers declared “heritage” as the theme. “MISS EARTH will be travelling to different places in the Philippines showcasing its breathtaking ecotourism destinations and promoting its rich heritage. We will also be featuring the heritage of participating countries from all over the World!” the global tilt posted on social media.
“HERITAGE – Let us protect and preserve our past and present, for our future generation to cherish and enjoy!” the Miss Earth pageant continued. This was also the same theme that the counterpart national search Miss Philippines Earth adopted earlier this year.
About 80 delegates from all over the world are expected to compete in the 2024 Miss Earth pageant, the 24th edition of the international competition. The Philippines will be represented by military reservist Irha Mel Alfeche from Matanao, Davao del Sur.
