Gerald Anderson believes ‘Nobody’ is a perfect teleserye comeback
Gerald Anderson is confident that “Nobody” is the “perfect” drama to mark his teleserye comeback, as it touches on sacrifice and integrity, themes that Anderson considers to be close to his heart.
Anderson was announced as the lead of the Benedict Mique-helmed series during a launch event on Wednesday, August 28. While details on his castmates, storyline, and premiere date are yet to be revealed, he said it will touch on the character’s “journey.”
“It’s about sacrifice, loyalty, and integrity, pamilya, katotohanan. It’s based on true events. It’s about ‘nobody,’ and we feel like we’re nobody at some point in our lives. We doubt ourselves and our situation, kaya alam kong makakarelate sila (the audience will relate to it),” he said of the upcoming series.
The actor, who has been undergoing firing and law enforcement training for the drama, described his character as a “pure-hearted” individual who will be forced to make hard decisions.
“This is gonna be a hard show — physically and mentally. But when you love what you do and it’s close to my heart, I’m going to give my 150% in this,” he said. “Because of [my character’s situation] in the show, he has to make hard decisions which can be against the law.”

When asked how he copes with “feeling nobody,” Anderson said he is the type of person who would make an effort to keep in touch with his loved ones.
“I try to stay active sa mga kaibigan at pamilya ko. Sa buhay ko kasi, kailangan mo ng momentum. And when you get that momentum back, tuloy-tuloy ‘yun (I try to stay active with my friends and family. You need momentum in life to keep going. And when you get that momentum back, it will follow),” he said.
“Nobody” marks Anderson’s comeback series after “A Family Affair” which starred Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, Jameson Blake, and Jake Ejercito.
