Heart Evangelista confirmed that she won’t be able to attend the upcoming New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2025 in September, as she would be busy attending to her prior commitments.

Evangelista made the announcement in a now-expired Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 27, citing work commitments in Asia and the upcoming Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.

“Those asking, I won’t be attending New York Fashion Week. Aside from work in Asia, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week, it wouldn’t be smart for me to be all over the place,” she said.

The fashion personality then reiterated that a person’s time and health is “precious.”

“Maybe next season but it still depends. Time is precious and health is important. Bawal (You’re not allowed to be) haggard,” she said.

Evangelista, who renewed her contract with Sparkle GMA in July 2024, has consistently attended the annual Fashion Week, usually held in New York, US; Milan, Italy; and Paris, France. The week-long event gathers fashion designers, luxury brand representatives, and ambassadors, where the latest seasonal collections are displayed on runways.

She ranked as the third-highest personality with the most media impact value at the Milan Fashion Week where she generated $3.6 million, per data from analytics company Launchmetrics in March 2024.
