Filipino filmmaker collaborates with European artist

Filipino filmmaker Khavn de la Cruz recently collaborated with Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson on a project entitled “Little Sun Lights,” which will premiere at Tate Modern in London on September 15. De la Cruz is the only Filipino in the lineup of 14 filmmakers from all over the world who were chosen for the project. It is part of an exhibit entitled “Olafur Eliasson: Little Sun,” ongoing until Sept. 23. De la Cruz was among the honorees at the first Inquirer Indie Tribute two years ago. Bayani San Diego Jr.
