SB19, Sandara Park take on ‘I need a girl’ dance challenge
P-pop powerhouse SB19 and K-pop superstar Sandara Park treated their fans to a team-up video as they took on the Taeyang ft. G-Dragon “I Need a Girl” dance challenge.
The video began with SB19 members flexing their smooth dance moves before Park entered the frame at the center.
“I need a girl with the OG,” SB19 wrote in their Instagram caption.
In 2010, Park was featured in the “I Need a Girl” music video’s dance version, which now has almost 12 million views. She also joined Taeyang in a performance at an awards show at the time.
SB19 and Park first met in 2023, the year where they also had the chance to collaborate on a song for an ad titled “Reset,” and they also teamed up for fun dance covers.

In an interview with Luis Manzano, the SB19 members said that they still get starstruck whenever they see or get to perform with Park.
“Ako po na-starstruck talaga ko,” said Pablo. (I was really starstruck.)
“Si Ate Dara napapanood lang namin dati siya sa TV, sa music video. Pero iba ‘pag nakita mo siya sa personal tapos napakabait, napakagalang katrabaho,” added Stell.
(Ate Dara, we used to only watch her on TV, in music videos. But it’s different when you see her in person, and she’s a very kind, very respectful colleague.)
Park said that she felt the same way with SB19, saying, “Siyempre starstruck din ako kasi fan din ako ng SB19. Sumasayaw din ako ng ‘Gento’.”
(Of course I’m also starstruck because I’m also a fan of SB19. I also dance to their song “Gento.”)
Meanwhile, Park is set to make a comeback and reunion world tour this year with her fellow 2NE1 members (CL, Bom, and Minzy), and she is enthusiastic to include the Philippines in the concert stops.
