Just two months after the release of “Rockstar,” Blackpink’s Lisa announced she is set to drop her new single “New Woman” featuring Spanish pop star Rosalia this month.
On the social media platforms of her label LLOUD Co., Lisa shared a teaser photo for the new single where she donned a black-and-white leather ensemble and sunglasses decked out with rhinestones. Rosalia looked fierce in an all-pink fur coat and black spectacles.
The new single will be released on Friday, August 16 (Philippine Time).
Fans have speculated about Lisa’s new single after the Thai K-pop shared a teaser clip on her TikTok page containing the lyrics: “Banging it, banging it / Wanna crack these walls / Banging it, banging it / Wanna echo through the halls / Pulling up, fresh face, brand new dia.”

Rosalia previously spoke about her admiration for Lisa in a March 2022 interview with Radio Disney Mexico. When asked about a possible collaboration, she said she would “leave it up to fate” at the time.
“I really like Lisa [of BLACKPINK]. I’m a fan of her… I really love her, this girl dances so well,” per a Rolling Stone translation.
Lisa, who launched her artist management company LLOUD Co. in February 2024, released the single “Rockstar” which was shot in her home country Thailand, in June of the same year.
The single marked her first release since taking the reins in managing her solo career. She remains signed with YG Entertainment for group activities with Blackpink.
