Ryan Reynolds has a lot to say to his wife Blake Lively’s “It Ends With Us” co-star Brandon Sklenar after the latter struck a “suggestive” pose in a photo.
A bespectacled Reynolds made the bold move to interview Sklenar during a promotional press junket for “It Ends With Us,” where he showed up as an interviewer. “This is cool. It’s not everyday the husband gets to interview his wife’s love interest in a film—it’s kind of crazy,” he said.
Sklenar seemed wary at first, muttering about not seeing the interview in his schedule.
But the “Deadpool & Wolverine” actor held the upper hand, cornering Sklenar about a “suggestive” photo of the latter with Lively, showing his backside to the camera. More to the point, he wanted to know more about Sklenar’s ample posterior.
“I saw you posing in a photo with Mrs. Reynolds. I saw this photo; it was pretty suggestive,” he said.
“How do you explain that? Is it genetics? You have some sort of low-angle squat routine to pop that region in that way? I mean, what’s going on here, man? Are you smuggling pumpkins? Got a couple of small pumpkins there? Jesus Christ, my heart is beating like crazy right now.”

“Ryan? You wanna take a break?” Sklenar said to stop Reynolds from rambling on. The later conceded and gave him a quick hug, appearing enamored of him, before exiting the frame.
But just when Sklenar thought he was done with the worst interview, Reynolds’ mom, Tammy, appeared next in line.
“Well, it’s not everyday that the mother-in-law of the leading lady gets to interview the love interest,” she began. “And the man trying to replace my sweet little gummy bear, Ryan.”
“Brandon, I saw the film. And may I say, you are incredible in this movie. On a scale from one to ‘I stop taking my blood thinner medication,’ because if I can’t have you, I don’t want me,” added the celebrity mom. “Damn, you’re gorgeous! It creeps up on you!”
Sklenar, with a bemused expression on his face, insisted that Tammy should keep taking her medication, as he also expressed his worry about her son.
Reynolds quickly jumped in and went back to his mother’s side to ask Sklenar if he would be interested in being his new dad, joking that he “could really use a man in his life. Hugh [Jackman] is no spring chicken anymore.”
Before Sklenar could say more, Jackman appeared before his eyes, taking Tammy’s place in the interview room. “It’s not everyday a guy gets to interview the love interest of his best friend’s wife,” said Jackman. “And the guy is trying to replace Ryan as a husband and me as his best mate. What the hell are you doing, messing with my best buddy’s wife?”
Sklenar expressed that he had “no idea what’s happening” with the interview shakeups. “But I do have to say while I have you here that your work in Les Mis (Les Miserables), what a triumph! I mean, I am a huge fan! You can do it all, you’re a unicorn!”
Reynolds, who appeared to have engineered the whole shenanigan with the interview, was later on seen backstage with Tammy and Jackman discussing how they found Sklenar passing all their little tests with flying colors.
“I think we found the next Wolverine,” said Jackman.
