Dianne Medina and husband Rodjun Cruz welcomed their second child after she gave birth to their daughter, Maria Isabella Elizabeth Medina Ilustre, amid birth complications.
Medina took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, July 23 to share a glimpse of her daughter’s face, saying she managed to have a safe delivery despite having experiences many health snags leading to her daughter’s birth.
“My Answered Prayer. My Baby Maria Isabella Elizabeth Medina Ilustre @isabella_ilustre. Thank you, Lord for everything! I had the ff during my pregnancy: Gestational Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes, Cardiac Arrythmia, Polyhydramnios,” she wrote.

The actress-TV host also thanked her doctors and those who extended their prayers.
“Thank you, Lord. No complications or anything! All Glory and Honor is yours, Almighty Father. Thank you for answering my prayers! Salamat rin po sa mga nagdasal (Thank you to those who prayed for us),” she wrote. “Thank you to my super bait, maalaga and magagaling na (kind, caring, and great) doctors. Thank you Lord.”
Meanwhile, Cruz said their second child is the “best gift” he and Medina received from God in a separate post.
“The best na regalo ang binigay sa’tin ni Lord ngayon! Grabe! Ang ating second baby. Our princess @isabella_ilustre . So proud of you, wife! Ang tapang mo. Sa nasaksihan ko kanina mas lalo pang tumindi ang pagmamahal ko sayo. Saludo ako sayo! I love so much,” he said.
(This is the best gift that the Lord has given to us. Our second baby, our princess. I’m so proud of you, my wife. You’re brave. I witnessed how much my love grew for you. I salute you. I love you so much.)

Medina and Cruz announced they were expecting their second child in March 2024 and confirmed the baby’s gender a month later.
The couple tied the knot in December 2019 and welcomed their first child Joaquin nine months later.
