Sheena Halili celebrated the upcoming arrival of her second child in a bear-themed party organized by her friend and fellow actress Jennylyn Mercado.
Halili, who is already 34 weeks into her pregnancy, looked radiant as she attended the event alongside her husband Jeron Manzanero and their firstborn Martina, as seen on Mercado’s Instagram page on Tuesday, July 16.
“A sprinkle of joy, a dash of laughter, and a heap of love. Today we celebrate not just an impending arrival, but the remarkable woman who’s embarking on her most beautiful journey,” Mercado said in the caption. “Here’s to the magic of motherhood.”
During the event, Halili expressed her gratitude to Mercado, saying she only had to dress up and attend the baby shower because the latter oversaw all the preparations.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa kanya—thank you, mare [Jennylyn]. First time kong magkaroon ng grand entrance,” Halili said.
Halili tied the knot with Manzanero in February 2020, and gave birth to Martina in December of the same year.
Last March, Halili then revealed that they are set to become a family of four by flaunting her growing baby bump in a topless photo shoot.
In the same month, Halili and Manzanero held an intimate gender reveal party where they announced that they are expecting a baby boy.
