For the first time, Dennis Trillo affirmed that he has no ill-feeling toward ABS-CBN following his viral comment on TikTok asking whether the network still exists.

In a recent interview on “24 Oras,” Trillo broke his silence and stressed that in his 20 years in show business, he holds no resentment toward anyone.

Wala po akong anything against ABS-CBN,” he underscored.

(I don’t want to be affected because the things I hear and the comments I read are not true because, of course, my account was hacked. In the 20 years I’ve been in this industry, I haven’t had an enemy; I haven’t said anything bad. I don’t have anything against ABS-CBN.)

The Kapuso actor declared that he would not make any offensive remarks, especially against his former network.

(I have high respect for them. That’s where I come from. And of course, that respect is important to me; I value that. I would not answer a simple question with such a comment; I can answer that with full respect.)

Trillo recently made headlines after he allegedly replied to a comment about his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, transferring to ABS-CBN after she was not seen on GMA’s new station ID.

“May ABS pa ba (does ABS still exist)?” a comment supposedly from the actor read, which gained traction.

After the viral comment, Trillo’s management released a statement, saying that the actor’s TikTok page had been hacked.

On Thursday, July 11, Trillo posted a new video on the platform, hinting that he now has access to his account.

Meanwhile, Mercado’s talent manager affirmed that the actress will stay as a loyal artist of GMA.

Trillo and Mercado also recently set up their own production company. The two have been married since 2021.
