Billy Crawford sets record straight: ‘Hindi po ako adik’
Billy Crawford dismissed the rumors of his supposed drug use, stressing that those close to him can attest that he is “one of the few artists who don’t try drugs.”
Crawford has been hounded by rumors that drug addiction was the reason behind his weight loss, with netizens pointing out his recent “sickly appearance” in a video that made rounds on social media.
This was brought up during Crawford’s interview with showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas, who asked the actor-dancer about his “slimmest era.”
“The slimmest or the sickness era?” Crawford quipped, as seen on “24 Oras” on Wednesday, July 10.
“Everyone keeps on—you know, it’s a loop; it’s like a circle sa buhay ko. It’s a nonstop conversation, my nutrition or my diet. I’m not on a diet,” he clarified.
Article continues after this advertisementCrawford said he is aware of the rumors circulating on social media, admitting it used to faze him. “Pero now, it really doesn’t anymore. Nakakatawa na lang.”

“Sa mga nakakakilala sa akin, I am by far the one of the few artists who don’t try drugs,” he told Canlas. “Ako, hindi po ako adik. Adik ako sa pamilya ko. Adik ako sa trabaho ko, and that’s it. I’m living, I think, my life to the fullest right now.”
Meanwhile, Crawford was announced as one of the coaches in the upcoming reality competition “The Voice Kids” on GMA.
