Rhian Ramos, Glaiza de Castro reunite for their first GL movie

Almost a decade after starring as lovers in the series “The Rich Man’s Daughter,” Kapuso actresses Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro are set to reunite for their first-ever movie together, a GL (girl love) story.
Wide International Film Productions announced the news on Facebook after the two actresses were teased during FreenBecky’s fan meeting about doing a movie together.
“Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro to have their first-ever movie together under Wide International. It’s now official!” read their caption.
“The two actresses were teased by the fans at the Big Dome during Aromagicare’s FreenBecky Fanmeeting, and both said “yes” when asked if willing to do a movie together,” they added.
Producer Dennis Evangelista also took to Facebook to share the news about the film as he revealed that it will be directed by Sigrid Andrea P. Bernardo, known for her work in “Kita Kita” and “Under Parallel Skies,” among others.
“Habol sa LGBT Pride Month. Cooking up a film project starring Rhian Ramos and Glaiza De Castro [under] the direction of Sigrid Andrea P. Bernardo under Wide International Film Productions, powered by aromagicare_official. Abangan!!!” wrote Evangelista.

In 2015, Ramos and de Castro starred in GMA’s first lesbian themed series. At the time, the pair gained loyal fans who had long wished for another project from the two.
Fans on X (formerly Twitter) celebrated the announcement of the duo’s new movie as they threw back some scenes from “The Rich Man’s Daughter.”
