Days after suffering from a hemorrhagic stroke, Arnold Clavio began undergoing physical and occupational therapy to regain his strength and normal movement.

The veteran broadcaster, who is still in the hospital but was already transferred from acute stroke unit (ASU) to a regular room, gave an update on his health through a series of posts on his Instagram page.

“‘The worst is over,’ sabi nga ni Dr. Vincent Valencia, cardiologist. Ang sarap pakinggan pero it is not yet over,” Clavio said, showing clips taken from his therapy sessions. “Mahaba-haba ang laban na ito.”

Clavio disclosed that his neurologist informed him that he might need another six weeks to rest and undergo rehabilitation and therapy to fully recover.

Clavio further explained that his condition mainly affected the thalamus area of his brain, which primarily relays motor and sensory signal to the cerebral cortex.
