Beauty Gonzalez, Sid Lucero to join forces in new film ‘Outside’
Beauty Gonzalez and Sid Lucero will star in the upcoming horror film “Outside,” which revolves around a couple’s quest to keep their family safe amid the horrors of a zombie outbreak.
Gonzalez and Lucero’s casting was confirmed by a streaming platform in a press statement, which also announced the film’s October 11 release.
In the statement, the family’s quest for survival will be haunted by “old traumas,” apparently referring to Gonzales and Lucero’s characters, which will eventually play a role in their journey.
Details about their castmates are yet to be announced, as of press time.
The movie is directed by Filipino-Australian Carlo Ledesma, who is said to prioritize “compelling human characters, their intricate connections, and conflicts,” in his filmmaking. He is best known for his thesis film “The Haircut,” which bagged the Mini Movie Channel Award for Best Short Film at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
