Blackpink’s Lisa confirms new single ‘Rockstar’ for a June release
Blackpink’s Lisa has been confirmed to release her upcoming single “Rockstar,” which is slated for a June release.
The new track was confirmed by Lisa’s management company LLOUD Co. on its social media accounts on Tuesday, June 18, which showed a black and gray clip containing the song’s title.

Lisa also shared a snippet of the track on her Instagram Stories with the same teaser.
Article continues after this advertisementThe upcoming single is Lisa’s first release since opening her management company LLOUD Co. in February, then signing with RCA Records to claim ownership of her music two months later.
Article continues after this advertisementBefore the confirmation, the “Money” hitmaker dropped hints of her new single on TikTok, where one of them contained the lines, “Baby, I’m a rockstar.”
Lisa debuted as the main dancer and lead rapper of the K-pop female quartet Blackpink in August 2016. She made her solo debut in September 2021 with the single album “Lalisa.”
Earlier, Lisa and Rosé, another member of Blackpink, teased their new solo music.
Rosé is reportedly in talks to join the South Korean agency The Black Label.
