Blackpink’s Lisa to drop solo music; Rosé in talks with The Black Label
Blackpink’s Lisa and Rosé are setting the tone for their solo careers, with the “Money” hitmaker teasing new solo music. Meanwhile, Rosé is reportedly in talks to join the South Korean agency The Black Label.
Lisa’s label confirmed in a statement that new music is in the works, although a release date is yet to be announced.
The official TikTok page of Lisa also shared clips of what seemed to be previews of new music, with the Blackpink member showing off various poses.

Rosé’s new label?
Meanwhile, Rosé is said to be in talks with the Teddy-led The Black Label to manage her solo career, according to Korean media on Monday, June 7.
Article continues after this advertisementWhile the “On The Ground” singer has yet to address the reports herself, a representative from The Black Label confirmed that discussions with Rosé are held.
“We are in talks with Rosé. That is all we can say,” the label told The Korea Herald.
Rosé, who was born as Roseanne Park, debuted as the main vocalist of Blackpink in August 2016. She remains the only member who has yet to sign with a label to manage her solo career.
Born Pranpriya Manobal, Lisa made her debut as the main dancer and lead rapper of Blackpink on the aforementioned date. She launched her new label Lloud Co. in February 2024 in hopes of creating “new boundaries” in music.
The Thai-born singer also signed with RCA Records in April of the same year. According to a press statement, the label will be in charge of her solo music where Lisa will have full ownership.
The members of Blackpink renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities in December 2023. But none of them continue pursuing solo work under the label.
