Andrea Brillantes celebrates a year without boyfriend
On June 12, Andrea Brillantes celebrated not just the country’s independence but hers as well, with her friends commending her for “making it through an entire year without a boyfriend.”
Brillantes, who was also ecstatic for getting noticed on the same day by “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” star Seo Yea-ji, marked the occasion by showing the cakes gifted to her by her close friends and fellow actresses Bea Borres and Danica Ontengco.
“Congratulations! You’ve made it through an entire year, which is 365 days, without a boyfriend. Good job!” the message in one of the cakes read.
Brillantes then showed her elated self holding the cake while in what appears to be a bar.
“OA sa pagiging supportive. Ramdam kahit nasa States,” she said of Borres and Ontengco.

A Seo Yea-ji fangirl
Aside from her celebration of Independence Day and “singlesary,” the actress also couldn’t contain her elation after learning that Korean actress Seo Yea-ji noticed and liked several of her Instagram photos.
“Hindi ‘to totoo, hindi ‘to totoo, hindi ‘to totoo. Wait lang, ime-make sure ko lang—hala!” Brillantes exclaimed before crying, screaming and rolling on the floor. “Oh my God, ni-like niya!”
Seo Yea-ji starred alongside Kim Soo-hyun and Oh Jung-se in the hit Korean TV series “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” which will have its Philippine adaptation led by Anne Curtis, Carlo Aquino and Joshua Garcia.
