Ogie Alcasid proud dad as daughter Sarah earns nursing degree

Ogie Alcasid couldn’t contain his joy as he announced that his daughter Sarah recently graduated with a degree in nursing.
The veteran singer-songwriter celebrated Sarah’s achievement, showing a photo from her commencement ceremony in Australia through his Instagram page on Friday, June 7.
“Anak, I am so proud of you! Sarah Alcasid now has a bachelor of nursing degree! Hallelujah!” he exclaimed.
Ogie then hinted at their upcoming reunion as he further addressed her daughter, “So excited to see you and the fambam in a few days! Love you!”

Sarah’s graduation ceremony was attended by her older sister Leila Alcasid and their mom, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren, who also sent their congratulatory greetings through their respective Instagram pages.

“Congratulations, my darling Sarah on graduating today with a Bachelor of Nursing. We are so very proud of your hard work and dedication over the last three years,” van Eimeren wrote.

Aside from Leila and Sarah, Ogie has a son named Nate with his wife, veteran actress-singer Regine Velasquez. Nate graduated from grade school last April.
