The trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance,” released on Monday, June 3, sees Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and his alien symbiote “hunted by both of their worlds.”

The clip begins with Brock and the supervillain—one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters—chopping off heads in a fight, as seen on Columbia Pictures Philippines’ YouTube page. The duo was then chased by government agents, and later on by Venom’s own kind.

“There has to be a reason they’re after us,” Brock tells the symbiote. “We may not make it out of this alive, buddy.”

In turn, it says, “Eddie, the time has come.”

The logline further reads, “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”

“Venom: The Last Dance” is the final film in the trilogy. Aside from Hardy, it stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham.

The film, directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote based on a story by Hardy and Marcel, is slated for release in October.
