Charee Pineda, who was already over five months into her pregnancy, revealed that she lost her unborn child after its heart suddenly stopped beating.

The actress shared the unfortunate news through her Instagram page on Monday, May 27, showing herself still admitted to a hospital.

“At 22 weeks and 1 day, our baby’s heart stopped beating. Our hearts were shattered but it surely made our faith stronger,” she said in the caption.

“We may not know why it had to happen but we trust that the Lord has better plans and all we can do is to let go and surrender. I know in my heart we will see you again, my love,” she added.

Pineda then revealed she named her unborn child Christiana.

“For now, enjoy your time in heaven along with all the angels,” she stated. “We can’t wait to have you back in our arms in His time.”

Aside from her husband Martell Soledad and their firstborn Cesco who were both with the actress in the hospital, Pineda also received comfort from her fellow celebrity moms Angeline Quinto, Yasmien Kurdi, Lovely Abella and Melissa Ricks through the comments section.

Pineda and Soledad tied the knot and welcomed Cesco in 2020. They announced her pregnancy last March.
