Despite her fourth runner-up finish, Christi McGarry is grateful for the “humbling” opportunity to represent Taguig at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant.

“I poured out and left my entire heart on that stage,” she wrote. “What a wild and incredible yet humbling ride and experience. Immeasurable sacrifices and countless hours of training and sleepless nights. The celestial calling. The hunger. The drive. The intention. The ambition. The purpose.”

The pageant veteran thanked the local government of Taguig for the “trust” to carry its name.

“I will never forget the roaring of MOA arena in unison with the announcement of my proudly represented city of “Taguig”, whom I’d like to thank for the trust to carry its sash and name into the final 5 of the most prestigious pageant in our country,” she said. “I look forward to expanding my efforts and advocacies with the city beyond this chapter.”

“The effortlessly beautiful soul both inside and out of @manalochelsea. Your destiny awaits and I am so happy and excited for you and this next legendary chapter in your journey. You are a bright light in the universe,” she said.

“I’d love to also thank and congratulate all my other amazing batch sisters who’ve made this journey remarkable. It’s you, incredible women, who’ve inspired me and have showcased courage, bravery, charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent,” she continued.
