Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck spotted for the first time after divorce rumors

A-list celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck seemed to have informed the public about their relationship status after they were spotted for the first time in 47 days following rumors that they are “heading for divorce and the latter has moved out of their home.”
People Magazine reported that the pair arrived separately at a recent event in Los Angeles but were both seen wearing their wedding rings. In the photos circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the couple were seen holding bouquets each, with Lopez smiling.

The sighting comes after numerous international outlets spurred reports that the two are experiencing marriage issues after fans noticed that they have been spending increasing amounts of time away from each other.
On May 6, Lopez attended as co-chair the Met Gala, but the actor did not accompany her as her date. In Touch’s source said Affleck “decided to call it quits” on his marriage to the A-list singer. “He’s focusing on his work and his kids now,” the insider added.
“Ben has already moved out, and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” continued the source.

The pair first dated in the early 2000s, and days before tying the knot, they mutually called off their wedding, citing “excessive media attention.” In 2004, they officially confirmed the end of their relationship.
In 2021, after dating other people over the years, Affleck and Lopez shocked and excited the public with the news that they had reconciled, which led to them finally tying the knot in July 2022.
“I fell in love with the love of my life [earlier in life], and for whatever reasons, we needed to grow and do other things,” Lopez said in one of her interviews. “We both went off and had children with other people and other relationships, but you know, in my mind, I kind of had it like, ‘Oh, that was kind of The One.’”
The couple had a blended family; Lopez has 16-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three kids he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
