Bela Padilla dismayed after missing luggage returned with damage
Bela Padilla aired her disappointment toward an airline in Bahrain after it returned her brand-new luggage—which was missing for days—with a missing wheel and a ruined cover.
The actress earlier called out Gulf Air through her X (formerly Twitter) page, for supposedly being non-responsive to her messages.
“No answers or accountability from anyone on your end regarding my missing luggage, [Gulf Air]. So disappointing,” she wrote on Tuesday, May 14. “First and last time I’m flying with you guys.”

The airline responded to Padilla, directing her to submit her concern via its website. This seemingly further annoyed the actress as she already did so but that it only led to a broken link.

Padilla, on Friday, May 17, then gave an update on her luggage, saying it was already returned to her but with damages.
“So Gulf Air finally found my luggage and delivered it today (five days after my arrival) with a missing wheel and a ruined luggage cover. This luggage was new and gifted to me the day before I flew to Manila,” she captioned a photo of her luggage. “What’s up, Gulf Air? You guys always work like this?”
Padilla is currently in London after her over two-month stay in the Philippines. According to her Instagram post, she stayed in Bahrain for a nine-hour layover before her flight to London.
