They are excited to have everyone on this journey.  Beloved Filipino footwear brand Banana Peel and non-profit organization Best Buddies Philippines are joining hands for “Slide Together Embrace Inclusion,” which will take place on May 18, 2024, from 3PM onwards at the Robinsons Magnolia’s Upper Ground Atrium.

This initiative is spearheaded by the Best Buddies British School Manila (BSM) chapter. The event will unveil a unique collection of unisex slides designed with the artwork of Best Buddies BSM chapter member, Navine Gabriella Kuo Gatchalian. Inspired by Navine’s vibrant beach adventures with family, these slides go beyond footwear, becoming a canvas of expression that embodies the spirit of inclusion.

By supporting this event, you are contributing to a cause that goes beyond fashion. A portion of the proceeds will be directed towards Best Buddies Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Your participation will not only raise awareness about the importance of inclusion but also provide these individuals with opportunities for growth and self-expression, fostering a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive.

Save the date, May 18 at Robinsons Magnolia! This is not just an event but a celebration of the power of friendship and a testament to our commitment to embracing a world of inclusivity. Let’s come together, slide towards a brighter future for all, and make this momentous occasion a memory to cherish.
