Gerald Anderson has nothing but excitement for fans of his actress girlfriend Julia Barretto and her ex-boyfriend, actor Joshua Garcia, saying he’s certain that the pair’s reunion film will be of “quality.”
Anderson, Barretto’s boyfriend of five years, spoke about his sentiment on the “comeback” of the former couple dubbed as “JoshLia,” as per an interview with Cinema One’s The B Side.
“It’s exciting—it’s exciting para sa mga (for their) fans,” he said, as seen in a teaser clip on Cinema One’s TikTok page.

“I’m not sure ilang years ago sila huling nagkasama but I’ve been in that situation. Alam ko na marami silang mapapasaya na mga fans nila,” he continued. “They’re both great actors so alam natin na magiging quality ‘yung ipapalabas nilang proyekto.”
(I’m not sure how many years since the last time they were together, but I’ve been in that situation. I know that they will bring joy to their fans. They’re both great actors so I’m sure their project will be of quality.)

Garcia and Barretto are set to star in the film “Un/happy for You,” their first movie project together after four years. The film will be helmed by “A Very Good Girl” director Petersen Vargas.
Garcia and Barretto were in a relationship for two years before calling it quits in 2019. Garcia is currently rumored to be dating Filipino-French athlete Emilienne Vigier.
