Willie Revillame officially marked his TV5 comeback as he signed a contract with the Kapatid network and Media Quest Ventures for their new partnership.
Present in the contract signing on Friday, April 26, were MediaQuest Holdings and Cignal TV president Jane Basas, TV5 president Guido Zaballero, MediaQuest Holdings CFO John Andal and Sienna Olaso.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa inyo, of course kay [Manuel V. Pangilinan], sa second chance,” Revillame said. “Alam ko namang may doubt pa rin, but you have to understand syempre ‘yung mga pinagdaanan—alam niyo naman ‘yung pinagdaanan ko sa ibang channel.”
“Pero no regrets kung ano mang channel akong mapunta,” he stressed, also expressing his gratitude to his former network, GMA, and its executives.

The TV host then vowed to be of help to TV5, saying he’s willing to extend any help necessary should the network need him.
“Hindi lang ‘yung bagong programa ko ang aalagaan ko, even TV5. Kung anong maitutulong ko sa TV5, kung anong creativity, ideas, kahit walang bayad I’m willing to do that,” he stated.
Revillame noted that they are still brainstorming for his new program, hence they have yet to announce it. He, however, disclosed that they will no longer use the title “Wowowin,” although it will still be a game show.
Revillame first worked with TV5 in 2010 until 2013. Speculations of his comeback as a Kapatid arose in March after he met with the network’s executives at the TV5 Media Center.
