Vic Sotto has no problem joining forces with Vice Ganda, one of the mainstay hosts of “Eat Bulaga’s” noontime rival “It’s Showtime” in a project.
On the sidelines of his birthday special on “Eat Bulaga,” Sotto said he’s open to working with Vice Ganda when asked about the possibility of sharing the spotlight with the latter. He also clarified that he has no blood with the cast of the Kapamilya-produced noontime show.
“It’s not impossible. Pero siguro in the future (But perhaps in the future), why not?” Sotto briefly said. “Of course, wala akong pinipili (I’m not choosy).”
The actor-host was also asked if he would participate in the upcoming 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), which is set to mark its 50th edition this year, to which he replied with a “surprise.”

Sotto also said that he will be starring in an upcoming project that’s “different” from past roles, although he remained mum about his possible participation.
“Iba naman. Iba na ang panahon ngayon so makakaasa sila ng kakaiba talaga (Something different. Times are changing now, so viewers can expect something different),” he said.
‘SURPRISE!’

When Sotto was again prodded if he would reprise his character Enteng Kabisote at the 2024 MMFF, he said “surprise” with a glint in his eye instead of directly answering the question.
Enteng Kabisote is one of Sotto’s most popular film roles, which had always been a common fixture in the annual film festival.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda’s most recent participation in the MMFF was the 2022 film “Partners in Crime” starring Ivana Alawi.
