Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s friendship seems to have grown stronger after the actor invited his “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?” costar to the premier night of his new film, “Elevator.”
Donning a multicolored asymmetrical dress, Chiu showed her support behind Avelino’s new movie, which also starred Kylie Verzosa, during a screening in Quezon City, as seen in photos uploaded on Viva Films’ Instagram account on Tuesday, April 23.
“@chinitaprincess is here to support @pauavelino at the #ElevatorPremiereNight here at SM North Edsa,” the caption said.
Avelino was also seen glancing at Chiu at some point in the event then greeting her with a hug, as seen in clips uploaded by fan accounts @senyorjhoey and @KimpauUniverse on X (formerly Twitter).

Chiu and Avelino worked together in the drama “Linlang” before the romcom series “Secretary Kim,” an adaptation of the hit K-drama starring Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young.
Their onscreen partnership sparked rumors of a romance between them but both have yet to confirm nor deny the speculations. Despite this, both are vocal with their gratitude toward each other.
