Over a week after the attempted sexual assault incident, Cianne Dominguez returned to the “It’s Showtime” stage and was welcomed with a tight hug by her fellow hosts.

During the “Karaokids” segment of the noontime show on Monday, April 22, Dominguez and the other hosts were trying to guess the song being sung by the “It’s Showtime” kids in an almost gibberish manner.

Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were the first to make a guess but were wrong. Dominguez, alongside her teammate Anne Curtis, was then given a chance to answer and earned the point for that round.

“Yay! Guys, tama si Cianne! Group hug natin si Cianne!” Vice Ganda exclaimed, seemingly trying to comfort his fellow host without delving into the incident she had gone through.

All the hosts immediately went to Dominguez and formed a group hug with her in the middle.

“Thank you, Showtime family!” Dominguez said in response.

Dominguez’s father disclosed the incident to the public, narrating how perpetrator Shervey Torno followed his daughter to her condo, suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist and asked for a kiss.

Dominguez filed a charge of attempted sexual assault against Torno who was taken to Kamuning Police Station 10.
