Megan Young quashes pregnancy speculations: ‘Busog lang’

Megan Young dismissed speculations that she is pregnant with her first child, with the actress-beauty queen clarifying that she was just full in her recent beach photos.

The pregnancy speculations apparently arose after Young showed a video from her Boracay trip with actor husband Mikael Daez.

In the clip shared on her Instagram page on Friday, April 19, Daez is giving Young a “princess treatment at the beach,” putting a sunscreen on the actress who was wearing an earth-tone two-piece swimsuit.

Netizens then swarmed the comments section to point out that Young “looks preggy.”

Young did not respond to the recent comments, but apparently, she already shared Instagram videos from the same beach trip earlier and also received similar remarks which she denied.

“Preggy ka na, Meg,” one @marivicduenas_ commented, to which Young replied, “Busog lang,” adding a grinning face with sweat emoji.

Young and Daez were in a relationship for nine years before they tied the knot in 2020. The pair had two weddings: an intimate ceremony with their loved ones in Batangas and a bigger wedding in Subic.

In 2022, the couple opened up on their thoughts about having children and said that they do not mind not having one in the future.

Young, who admitted she often gets asked about their plans to have children, underscored at the time, “If we have kids, then we have kids. If we don’t, we don’t. If I get pregnant, okay, and if not, then we just continue living life.”
