Maricel Laxa earned a Six Star Medal after she finished the Boston Marathon, completing all six World Marathon Majors at age 54.
The celebrity mom joined the Boston race alongside her daughter, vlogger Hannah Pangilinan, as seen on the latter’s Instagram page on Tuesday, April 16.
“IT IS FINISHED!” Hannah exclaimed in the caption. “Her six star medal and my first world major marathon.”
“[What] a time with you mom. [At] a loss for words, thank you for all your support—more soon,” she added. “To God be all the glory!”
Laxa, in response, credited her daughter for being her source of courage in joining the race.
“My Baby, WE did this. I couldn’t have had any courage to run Boston without you,” the actress said in the comments section. “I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Laxa’s husband, Anthony Pangilinan, also showed off the actress’ achievement via his Instagram page.
“Maricel completes this morning the Boston Marathon, her 6th and final World Marathon Major, after Tokyo, Chicago, London, New York [and] Berlin!” he stated.
“I completed mine pre-pandemic. Di raw siya paiiwan so now we are World Marathon Majors finishers!”
Anthony commended his “mini-me” Hannah as well for finishing the marathon at “such an amazing race pace.”

Aside from Hannah, Laxa and Anthony have four more children, namely Ella, Donny, Benjamin and Solana.
