Kapuso actress Cassy Legaspi announced that her old Facebook account was hacked, and that she has created a new official page.

On her Instagram stories, the young actress clarified that a Facebook page with 13 million likes and 21 million followers is not handled by her anymore.

“It used to be mine until I was hacked in 2021,” she wrote, as she asked her followers to help report the account.

The old hacked Facebook account has been posting Legaspi’s old videos, including the one she filmed with Darren Espanto and Kyline Alcantara, among others.

Legaspi and Espanto were in a love team and were previously rumored to be in a relationship; however, they both clarified recently that they were only best friends and not romantically involved.

On the other hand, Cassy’s twin bother, Mavy Legaspi, said in a recent interview that he sees no problem now that Espanto is being linked to Alcantara, who was his rumored girlfriend and former love team in the past.

“I have no problem, kasi Darren and I are very close friends. Again, what you see on TV is what you get. Pero behind closed doors, nagme-message message kami ni Darren, so we’re very good,” he said.

Espanto also recently admitted that he and Alcantara were in a relationship for a year and called it puppy love, years before both of them were linked to the Legaspi twins.

Meanwhile, Cassy and her mom, Carmina Villarroel, recently made headlines after netizens assumed that they were posting cryptic posts following the recent statement of Espanto.

However, Espanto defended the mother and daughter in a recent interview in “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” saying, “Cassy is just a fan of posting lyrics to a song, while Tita Mina likes sharing quotes and bible verses.”
